SA™ Semi-Automatic Bottle Capping Machines Tighten Caps Quickly and Ergonomically

This video includes a series of short clips showing the SA™ semi-automatic capping machine with standard base in action, demonstrating its versatility across a wide range of cap and container configurations.

The first clip features the SA™ capping machine with a standard base, tightening 28mm caps onto 8 oz. modern round bottles. SA™ capping machines are designed to tighten caps ranging from 10mm to 130mm in diameter and provide exceptional torque accuracy. The capping process begins when the operator presses the foot pedal. As the pedal is engaged, the capping motor lowers onto the cap and tightens it in under a second. Once the cap reaches the desired torque, the capping motor automatically shuts off, signaling the operator to release the foot pedal. This action causes the capping motor to lift off the cap and return to its starting position. The bottle, now perfectly capped, can then be removed from the machine's base.

The second clip features the SA™ capping machine with standard base tightening 63mm metal lug caps.  During this clip the Kinex Cappers® EZ Slide Grill is highlighted. The EZ Slide Grill features a spring-loaded, plastic-coated stainless steel surface that allows bottles to glide smoothly over the base. During the capping process, the spring loaded grill is pressed down allowing high friction rubber strips to protrude through the slots in the grill. These rubber strips help to prevent the bottle from rotating while it is being capped, aiding the operator in holding the container still during the capping process and helping to ensure a tight and secure closure.

The final clip showcases the versatility of the SA™ capping machine with standard base as it tightens large 110mm closures.
